What it does
Gokada was a Nigerian bike-hailing and last-mile delivery startup founded in 2017 by Fahim Saleh. The company raised $5.3M in Series A funding in 2019 and briefly hired Ayodeji Adewunmi as co-CEO. Following Lagos State's 2020 ban on commercial motorcycles, Gokada pivoted to last-mile delivery. Founder Fahim Saleh was murdered in July 2020. Gokada filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October 2024 with $6.7M in debt, and was reportedly seeking $200K to continue operations as of April 2025.
