Editorial policy
How we compile, verify, and correct what we publish.
Accuracy over completeness
A blank field with a note is better than a guess. Where a fact is not public, we leave it empty rather than estimate. Non-obvious facts carry a source.
Dated, not live
Volatile figures such as fees, valuations, and metrics are shown as dated snapshots with the date they were recorded. They are not live values, and they should not be read as current without checking the source.
Review
Entries move through a simple workflow. Contributors draft, editors review and publish. Comparisons avoid composite scores, so each attribute stands on its own.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, tell us. See Contribute for how to reach the editorial team, and Data and Sources for where the numbers come from.
